Piégut is situated in the northern tip of the Perigord Vert Parc Naturel within easy reach of Limoges,Angouleme and Perigueux. Poitiers is also within 1.5 hours drive. 7 hours drive from Calais and 6 hours from Caen.

We have a large pool of 12mx6m with Roman steps and a large terrace area surrounding for sunbathing and relaxing.

3 Km away is the lake of St.Estephe, which is approx. 65 acres in area. Here there is a beach and its possible to swim, take lunch, walk and fish. Alternatively try the lac St.Mathieu just a few kms away or the Grand Etang of St.Saud.

Within 20 mins drive there is an 18 hole Golf course and driving range.

Within 15 mins there is a superb outdoor go-kart track that can entertain both children above a certain height and adults.

There are a number of Horse riding centres in the area as well.

For those interested in History there are ancient Grottes a short drive away and a little further there is sad but poignant monument of Oradour Sur-Glane, a village wiped out in WW2

If Bordeaux wine is of interest the famous town of St.Emilion is a 2 hour drive away. Also the famous Brandy town of Cognac is 60 miles due west.

Various coastal resorts are approx. 2.5 hours drive.
